Garbicz Festival / 2026 / Music, workshops, talks and film
A space for listening and coming together.
At Garbicz Festival’s Moon Tent, Hilo created an immersive vibroacoustic installation within a programme that extended beyond music. Alongside musical performances, the tent hosted workshops and talks on personal development and relationships, breathwork, and a film screening.
One setting. Different ways to gather.
MOONTENT brought these different formats into a shared setting. Music and full-body listening were part of a broader programme of conversation, participation and reflection. The installation also provided a setting for testing a Hilo lounge furniture prototype.
This breadth is central to the project: a physical sound environment can belong within a cultural programme with several ways to participate, rather than serving only as a music stage.
Hilo’s contribution
Hilo contributed the vibroacoustic installation and the development and testing of furniture for full-body listening. Workshops, talks, breathwork and film formed part of the wider Moon Tent programme.

Spaces for cultural programmes
MOONTENT is one example of how an installation can sit within a programme that brings people together in different ways. For new commissions, we can explore physical sound environments for festivals, retreats and cultural venues that host music alongside workshops, talks and screenings.
- Shared listening areas and tactile furniture for music programmes.
- Spaces planned around both listening and participatory formats.
- Installation concepts developed with your programme team and facilitators.
The role of sound and vibration should be considered for each format. We can discuss how the installation fits your programme, what technical conditions it needs, and how the space can accommodate different activities.
Tell us about your venue, audience, programme and dates. Together, we can explore the setting you want to create.
