Hilo’s Orb was developed for a permanent outdoor installation within Space Net in Ibiza, combining immersive sound and low-frequency vibration in a suspended spatial environment.
The experience
Here, physical sound is part of the space itself. The installation brings listening into a suspended environment, connecting sound, vibration and the structure around the visitor.
Hilo’s contribution
Hilo developed Orb for this installation: a physical sound component shaped by the requirements of its setting.
Integrated sound for bespoke spaces
Space Net points towards a broader approach: developing sound and vibration alongside the space they inhabit. For new projects, we can explore integration into furniture, platforms and custom spatial constructions.
