SYMBIOSE

SYMBIOSE installation at Sneglehuset in Thyborøn

Sneglehuset, Thyborøn / 2025 / Sound and vibration

A place, heard differently.

SYMBIOSE is a site-specific sound installation at Sneglehuset in Thyborøn, weaving together local history, nature and architecture through a multilayered soundscape moving between underwater depths, calm seas and storms.

The experience

The soundscape offers another way to encounter the site. Sound becomes a material for exploring the place and its surroundings.

Hilo’s contribution

Hilo’s site-specific sound work connects the installation with the character of Sneglehuset and the coastal environment described in the composition.

Site-specific sound for cultural places

For museums, exhibitions and cultural destinations, we can develop original sound around the stories, materials and architecture of a particular place.

  • Soundscapes shaped by a site’s identity and context.
  • Original composition for installations and exhibition spaces.
  • Exploration of vibration where the physical setting supports it.

Bring us the story you want to tell, the space it belongs in and how visitors will encounter it.
